How do you submit photographs to Essential?

There is only one way to submit photographs to Essential:  Regular Mail

*Photos posted online and submitted through e-mail will not be accepted.

All photos must be mailed directly to our agency.

What pictures do I send?

We request that models send at least one (1) clear full face/head shot no smile,  one (1) clear full face/head shot with smile showing teeth and one (1) clear full-length body shot.  Be sure to wear clothes that are fitted, we cannot tell what you body looks like when it is covered in "baggy" clothes.  Makeup is not required.  We want to see the natural you.  Please, no nude photos.  Men may go topless.  If you have a Composite Card, you can send it along with the face and body photographs. Polaroids are accepted. Do not send your portfolio.

Men:

Females (13-19):

We are not currently accepting children for this division - please check back another time.

Can I make an appointment to see an agent?

We request that you send your photos by mail.  Once your file has been reviewed, our agents will call you to set up an appointment if they are interested.

Do I need professional pictures?

Absolutely not!  We prefer snapshots or polaroids because they are more natural.  If you have professional pictures, we will accept them, but generally we prefer pictures that have been taken by a friend or a family member.  Color photographs are preferred.

What should I include with my photos?

Please include your name, measurements (height, weight, bust, waist, hips, chest) age, hair color, eye color, a contact phone number and an address.

What if I have an agency?

If you are under contract or are currently being represented by a "mother agency", they must contact us in order for you to be placed here.

Will my photos be returned and when should I expect a response from an agent?

We do not return submissions to any applicant.  If our agents are interested, they will contact you. Please do not call to check on the status of your submission.

What types of models do you represent? Are there any requirements of the models?

At Essential Models, we represent all different types of professional models, in almost every age, size and ethnicity.  The height requirement for female models is 5' 6" and above; for male models it is 5' 9" and above.

What if Essential Models is not interested in me?

Don't give up!  Your look or type might not work for our agency at this particular time, but things do change regularly.  We encourage you to resubmit pictures after 6 months.  If you are seriously interested in modeling, with hard work and persistence, you can find success.
